Kit Cat Toe takes the game everyone solved as a child and changes the board instead of the rules. Three arenas — a classic 3x3, a 4x4 that tapes two cells shut before the first move, and a 5x5 that wants four paws in a row — plus five match twists that move the goalposts mid-game. Ten cat rivals each play differently and unseal a Catbook dossier as you beat them. Free, offline, no account, no purchases.

Classic tic-tac-toe is solved in an afternoon: two careful players draw every time. Kit Cat Toe accepts that and attacks the board instead. The Extended 4x4 arena blocks two cells before you start; the Big Box 5x5 requires four in a row. Match twists hand out extra turns, let a rival steal a claimed cell, shift the tape, or change what a winning line is worth.

Around the matches sits a cardboard bureaucracy played entirely straight: 42 hand-authored Daily Box puzzles with one official attempt a day, a Paw List of daily and weekly cases, a seven-match Seven Lives tournament across three rotating gauntlets, 32 achievements, and a cosmetic layer of ten cat skins, six box themes, eighteen pieces of battle flair, eight meow voices and a Cat Lab with 25 parts to mix — every one of them earned with in-game fish rather than money. Two players can share one phone, or brawl from two devices over a private invite link.
